As a Grade 1 Natural processed coffee, it represents the best of Ethiopian coffee craftsmanship, delivering an unforgettable cup every time.

Why You’ll Love Boji Kochere Natural

This coffee comes from the Boji Washing Station in Kochere, Yirgacheffe—a regiaon known for producing some of the world’s most iconic coffees. Grown at 2,100 to 2,300 meters above sea level, the high altitude and traditional farming methods create a truly special bean.

Around 500 small-scale farmers contribute to this coffee, growing it on tiny plots of land using natural, chemical-free methods. The cherries go through a meticulous Natural processing method, where they’re carefully sorted, washed, and dried in layers to bring out all their amazing flavors.

How to Brew It

To bring out the best in Boji Kochere Natural, here are our go-to recipes for filter coffee and espresso.

Filter Recipe (Pour-Over – V60 Method)

For a clean and fruity brew, the pour-over method is the way to go.

  • Coffee: 20g (medium-coarse grind)

  • Water: 320g at 94°C

  • Ratio: 1:16

  • Brew Time: 3:00 – 3:30 minutes

  • Steps:

    1. Start with a 50g bloom for 30 seconds.

    2. Pour in stages: 100g, then 100g, then 70g.

    3. Let it draw down completely before sipping and enjoying.

Espresso Recipe

If you love a bold, syrupy shot with a lingering sweetness, try this espresso recipe.

  • Dose: 18g (medium-fine grind)

  • Yield: 40g

  • Extraction Time: 27 – 30 seconds

  • Temperature: 93°C

  • Tasting Notes: A smooth, chocolatey body with vibrant berry sweetness and floral hints.
