The more evenly you distribute the grounds, the more evenly water will flow through the bed of coffee. As a result, your extractions will be more balanced, repeatable and most importantly, delicious. Needle thickness, stiffness, number, and array matter. Too much—even too few—of any and all of those, and you will struggle to have good results with the technique. The Flair WDT Tool was designed with all of this in mind, as well as to be the perfect fit for all of our portafilters, from the NEO on up to the 58.

Specifications:

• 0.25 mm diameter needles, extending 38 mm
• 9 degrees angle of peripheral needles to center needle
• 24 mm needle span
• 54.7 mm long hilt: 24 mm at widest and 17.4 mm at the waist
• Custom pedestal for storage and protection when traveling
• Tool + Pedestal: 103.5 mm tall

Caution: Needles are delicate, and non-replaceable. Take care when placing tool back on pedestal to align needles with channels on pedestal.
